Mike Creavey earned a bachelor’s degree in history from The Catholic University of America and a master’s degree in Theology and Christian Ministry from Franciscan University of Steubenville.
Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Mike received a commission as an officer in the U.S. Army where he served in numerous capacities for eight years stateside and abroad, including a 2008 combat tour in Iraq.
Once he returned from his deployment, Mike entered priestly formation as a seminarian for the Diocese of Harrisburg at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD. Discerning the Lord’s call elsewhere, he worked in youth and young adult ministry at a number of Catholic parishes before teaching high school theology for four years at St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Boalsburg, PA.
Currently, Mike works as the development coordinator for Holy Family Radio, a Catholic AM station serving the greater Harrisburg area. He produces and hosts Holy Family Radio’s youth and young adult-themed program “Ever Ancient, Ever New”. Mike thoroughly enjoys podcasting, blogging, and offering presentations through his website,
thegraciousguest.org. He lives near Harrisburg, PA with his wife Kristine and their daughter Noelle.
