Jean Hoeft holds a BA from the University of Michigan in Mathematics Education and an MA from Marygrove University in Instruction & Curriculum . Mrs. Hoeft taught math for Whitmore Lake Public Schools for 27 years. During that time, she served on several committees to analyze teacher training and find solutions for improvement. She's also worked with the Women in Engineering Project at the University of Michigan and was written up in the Ann Arbor News for her technology class and her students' magnetic levitation vehicles. Mrs. Hoeft helped develop the curriculum for the technology education certification at Eastern Michigan University. She has taught the confirmation class at her Catholic parish for 20-plus years and sings in the church choir. Mrs. Hoeft loves gardening, sudoku puzzles, raising chickens, reading, knitting, and everything Catholic.
